About Us
I am a proud mom of two amazing kids, currently located in Los Angeles, California.

With a daily “routine” of running around, it was good for me to have an outlet like paper crafting. I hand-make greeting and note cards, journals, notepads, bookmarks, and any other stationery item you can think of.

For the past 10 years I have worked in Accounting and have recently worked as Personnel Manager. I finally became tired of getting up going to a “job” I can't stand, trying my best to get out of there by 4:00p.m., only to have to do it again the next day. I decided to take charge of my own life and work "The Secret"!

In the past, I have made fabric covered photo albums, did a little bit of cross stitch and I sew when I get a chance. I also enjoy knitting, although I am at the beginner stage. My love is with paper. I have been a fan of stationery longer than I can remember. Hello Kitty was my first addiction! When I started creating stationery, I found that I could sit in one place all day and just create.

Do you remember House of Fabrics? I used to work there (over 15 years ago)! It was the beginning of my crafting. I enjoy working Mocha Child because I am able to do something that I enjoy and share the final product with you. I look forward to hearing your comments and answering your questions and of course filling your orders. If you would like to place a Special Order, please send me an e-mail to discuss the requirement/s.

Thanks for checking us out!
Company History

Mocha Child was started June, 2007 in Los Angeles, California by Christine Anderson.

Christine started Mocha Child turning a crafty outlet into a start-up Home-Based Business. Over the past months Mocha Child has grown from creating Greeting Cards to include Hand-Bound Journals, Notepads and Bookmarks. All of which are made by Christine. The notepads came about when a box of unused notepad letterhead that her brother did not need in his real estate business. She cut the tops and bottoms off, printed the pages and glued them together with a special adhesive.

At the present time all die-cut embellishments are personally hand-cut. Some of the art used on Mocha Child stationery is hand-drawn as well as clip art from various sources. Rubber Stamps are also used as art in MC items. Mocha Child is built on quality and that is shown in all of the items sold. Journal Pages range from 20 – 32lb (medium weight to heavyweight). All cards and  bookmarks are made using 65 - 110lb (heavyweight) paper. While some paper is purchased with texture, some of the paper is texturized using pigment ink and/or an inkjet printer.

Mocha Child currently sells at local Arts and Crafts fairs as well as on Etsy (
www.mochachild.etsy.com). For a list of fairs and the locations check out the Mocha Calendar.
